We are looking to recruit a new member of our highly successful fundraising team to work alongside our Trusts and Foundations Officer and our Community Events & Corporate team. Are you someone who is organised, motivated, and a confident communicator who has the energy and passion to develop this role?

You will assist the Trusts and Foundations Officer to maximise income from a variety of private trusts, charitable foundations, and lotteries. You will also support the Community Events & Corporate team in the research and identification of new corporate partners the length and breadth of Scotland.

In this role, you will be required:

  • To identify, research and approach charitable trusts and foundations for funding
  • To manage your own portfolio of small-to-medium trusts and build positive relationships between CHSS and trusts when successfully awarded funds.
  • To identify and research potential corporate partners, support the Community Events & Corporate team in making approaches and, where required, attend corporate stewardship and fundraising events.
  • To keep our fundraising database up to date with all relevant and legitimate information

You will be educated to SQA Higher level in English and Mathematics, have previous volunteering or fundraising experience, excellent writing skills and be an organised self-starter.
