We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Housing Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and delivery of housing services to over 1,800 customers. Your responsibilities will be diverse, including estate and tenancy management, housing allocations, maximising rental income, arrears recovery, and handling customer inquiries.

Maintenance Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Repairs Coordinator who is motivated and passionate about managing a small team of repairs assistants and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

The successful candidate should be customer-focused, with an emphasis on providing quality and efficient repairs services to both our internal and external customers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess professional knowledge and experience working in a repairs administration capacity, able to manage case management of the Gas, EICR, contracts, and Responsive Management of our day-to-day repairs within the Repairs team.

You may be working for a contractor or in the private sector, allocating repairs, liaising with other contractors, responsible for performance reporting, or looking to advance your career within this field. You will be required to keep our customers updated on the progress of their repairs and work closely with colleagues in our Housing, Factoring, and Investment departments.

You should possess strong analytical skills, be driven to achieve key performance indicators, and exhibit good attention to detail while working competently in a fast-paced environment.

Partick Works Limited is the non-charitable trading subsidiary of Partick Housing Association, committed to creating vibrant and sustainable neighbourhoods in Glasgow’s thriving West End.

Our core business involves providing property factoring services to some 2,000 factored homeowners; managing a growing portfolio of residential properties, including Mid Market Rent flats; and letting a small number of commercial premises.

Partick Works is led by an experienced Board who have responsibility for governance and strategic direction of the business. We are keen to recruit new Board Members who want to add value, help us drive forward our ambitious plans and deliver successful and sustainable business growth.

We believe that great people make a difference to our business and welcome interest from candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly if you have relevant experience in:

  • Residential Letting/Management;
  • Property Factoring/Management;
  • Commerce and Business Development;
  • Building Maintenance and Asset Management; or
  • Customer Service, Marketing and ICT.

This is a voluntary but rewarding position. Time commitment is to attend at least four meetings each year, which we hold in the evening within our offices in Partick, Glasgow. We also encourage and support our Board Members to develop their skills through relevant training, seminars and other networking events.

PWL Directors must meet the Companies House Director Responsibility requirements.
