Role

Clydebank Women’s Aid have an exciting and unique to opportunity for a feminist to work for the last true collective in the Scottish Women’s Aid Network. Work with other passionate feminists committed to overthrowing patriarchy, feminist management, and providing the best possible service we can to women, children and young people who are experiencing domestic abuse.

This role requires a broad range of experience, skills, and values. We are looking for a woman who is a passionate and committed feminist with experience providing emotional/practical support; however, training will be provided if not.

Your role:

You will provide one to one support to women, children, and young people wherever these sessions take place (online, in office, outreach and refuge basis). Ensuring that women, children, and young people are at the forefront of the service and that all aspects of work are undertaken within the feminist ethos of Clydebank Women’s Aid.

As a collective manager you will be equally responsible with the rest of the workers for the day to-day-running of Clydebank Women’s Aid and ensuring our vision and mission statement are met. Work will include but isn’t limited to: ensuring all aspects of service are covered; attending internal and external meetings; overseeing recruitment, employment and management issues; contributing to local and national campaigns etc.,

Core working hours:

9:30am – 4:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.

Full time post (35 hours) is open to job share, please state this on email if you would consider this.
