Role

A fantastic opportunity to come and join the Children 1st team in North Ayrshire

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Family Wellbeing Team, with a specific focus on enhancing equity for children and families impacted by poverty. Children 1st alongside children, families, and partners will provide early help which is easily accessible and non-stigmatising.

Key activities may include,

  • Family play days
  • After school drop in sessions
  • Holiday clubs, play and connection sessions
  • Community art sessions
  • Connection to Outdoors
  • Wellbeing workshops
  • Welfare Café – Money advice
  • Breakfast and lunch clubs/supper club
  • Cooking classes
  • Larger scale events – Community

The team and model of support will play a pivotal role in the delivery and development of the service, ensuring high quality relationships with children and families and working alongside our partners to evidence impact. We are therefore looking to recruit a team of dynamic, experienced individuals who can drive the successful development and growth of this partnership across Ayrshire communities.

Base

You will be based in our North Ayrshire Space, Cheviot Way, Bourtreehill, Irvine.

Salary, Conditions, Pension

We will offer you a competitive salary, generous annual leave entitlement (40 days inclusive of 9 public holidays), flexible working opportunities and a contributory pension scheme.

Further Information

This is a fixed term part time role of 20 hours a week, funded for 12 months.
