Role

At Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) creating a positive experience for our employees matters and that’s why we are continually investing in making CHAS a great place to work. Our people are key in delivering support and care for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their families and our ambition is to reach every family in Scotland who may need our support.

We are keen to find an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Directorates, provide HR expertise, drive and deliver new approaches and ways of working to the benefit of CHAS. The role is offered on a permanent basis and will be based in our Edinburgh office with travel across Scotland to other CHAS sites.

Working as part of our established HR team, a key priority will be to role-model and use your HR expertise and coaching capability with line managers to help create and maintain a positive employee relations culture, whilst promoting CHAS’s core values and ambition.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our team and all we ask is that you tick the following boxes. If you are educated to postgraduate degree level (or hold the equivalent experience), are CIPD qualified, have previous experience in a HR Business Partnering role and have lead in employee relations or health & wellbeing initiatives, we would be keen to hear from you.

This role will be key in a number of HR change initiatives and we would expect you to work collaboratively across all departments and teams, bringing with you an excellent communication skill set along with a commitment to the CHAS core values, vision and purpose, which is essential for such an important role.
