You will have an interactive relationship with the Trustees, the workforce, and the wider network as a strong advocate of the charity. You will be expected to develop and maintain appropriate policies, practice and organisational procedures, so experience in governance and compliance is required.

The Charity’s greatest asset is its people who are from a wide background and who have disparate commitments which lead to the part time employment model so prevalent in the Sector. We do believe the right candidate will grow the services offered both in volume and quality. The candidate should have a proven track record demonstrating, but not limited to:

• Commercial acumen

• Strategic planning

• Quality service delivery

• Developing and leading a team

• Financial management and budgetary control

Maybe you have worked with families and children previously; maybe you have worked with child protection; maybe you have experience in the third sector. The Trustees are open to considering candidates who have vision to apply their skills in what may be a new area of work for them. If you strongly empathise with the mission of Family Mediation West of Scotland and have the relevant skills and experience, please get in touch.
