About Changing Places Toilets Scotland Fund
The Changing Places Toilets Scotland Fund (CPTSF) aims to increase the availability of Changing Places Toilets across
Scotland, addressing critical gaps in accessible infrastructure for people with some disabilities. With an
increase in the number of Changing Places Toilets in Scotland, more disabled people will have access to their
basic human right to take part in activities in their communities in safety, dignity, and confidence.
As part of its commitment to extending the provision of these facilities across Scotland’s communities the Scottish
Government has set a budget of £10 million in the financial years 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 to support this. This
Fund is for the installation of up to 150 new Changing Places Toilets across Scotland. Inspiring Scotland is
acting as the fund manager for this programme.
