Role

Teapot Trust is a Scottish charity providing art therapy and creative interventions in hospitals and, more recently, community settings and online to support the wellbeing of children and young people living with chronic conditions – and their families. We help children and young people to express their emotions, overcome challenges linked to their condition and develop healthy coping mechanisms so that they are not defined by their illness. Through our art therapy we bring colour to young lives.

Your key focus will be:

  • Altruism and a desire to champion the health and wellbeing of children and young people
  • An empowering cooperative style of leadership to support the CEO and Trustees
  • Chairing board meetings effectively
  • Ensuring good governance practices
  • Ensuring effective relationships between trustees, staff and other stakeholders
