Work with us to establish a new set of support services that can make a real difference to the lives of people who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.
Survivors Unite seeks to facilitate the recovery of adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Scottish Borders. We offer 1:1 peer support; counselling / therapy; and group based peer support. The establishment of our new Safe Oaks Project is an exciting opportunity for innovative service development in a rural area to address unmet needs for support.
We are looking to engage qualified and experienced professionals to provide an agreed number of regular sessional counselling / therapy per week. We want to create capacity for 15 hours counselling per week overall.
The successful candidates with have a sound understanding of the impact of childhood sexual abuse and trauma on adult survivors and be experienced in working therapeuti-cally with adults with experience of childhood sexual abuse.
