We are seeking to appoint a confident and experienced HR professional to join Scotland’s leading dementia organisation. Alzheimer Scotland campaigns for the rights of people with dementia and their families and provide an extensive range of innovative and personalised support services, community activities, information and advice at every stage of the dementia journey, from over 60 locations across Scotland, from Shetland to the Borders.

The role will play a key part within a small, professional HR team and support the implementation of Alzheimer Scotland’s People Strategy, providing HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees at all levels in the organisation.
Candidates will be CIPD qualified or working towards qualification with a good range of generalist HR experience and the confidence to manage a varied caseload with a focus on absence management, performance management and capability. Flexibility, a confident approach and excellent communication and IT skills are important to this role as is the ability to use and contribute to the development of the HR database system.
