Around since 1923, SAMH is Scotland’s national mental health charity.

SAMH has represented the voice of people most affected by mental health problems in Scotland for more than 90 years.

Today, in over 60 communities we work with adults and young people providing mental health social care support, services in primary care, schools and further education, among others. These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention and active living; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

For Scotland’s Mental Health

The SAMH National Employment Team operates high quality services to support customers to access and sustain employment. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team and make a positive impact on the lives of the customers we support.

As a key member of the National Employment Team, you will work closely with the management team to ensure compliance with contractors’ systems. This includes audits of databases and files and ensuring corrective action is taken as required. You will also train and advise colleagues on the use of reporting systems and provide full administrative support for the Team.

You will be based in Glasgow providing support for national and varied contracts. You will be enthusiastic and self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Experience of using Word, Excel and databases is essential. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working with DWP or voluntary organisations is desirable.
