We are the lead agency providing social support for people affected by Cystic Fibrosis throughout Scotland. We provide a diverse range of outreach services that include advocacy, practical support, befriending for young people, mentoring for young adults and Massage Therapy for adults while in hospital.

The Support Service Coordinator will provide supervision and guidance to our volunteer outreach team along with delivering support to individuals, families and carers of children affected by Cystic Fibrosis. This will include support with issues such as benefit applications, housing, employment, education and sourcing financial support for carers to create a suitable home environment for our service users.

Desirable experience

  • Previous experience of working with people
  • Previous experience of working in an office based environment
  • Previous experience of volunteering or volunteer/staff supervision/management

  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Good interpersonal, written and communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Sensitivity
  • A supportive attitude toward living with chronic illness

Full driving licence and use of a smoke free car is essential.
