“I am a young adult who likes to spend time on my own within my own activities and I need support to be tailored to the challenges and complexities that will enable me to take the small meaningful steps in the progression of my daily living skills.

I recently moved into my forever home with a small, highly skilled team, who are working with me to manage the on-going transitions from home to home.

I am looking for a full-time staff member to join my small team, I need someone who is patient, calm and able to fill their time while I take the small steps that are imperative to keep me safe healthy and motivated.

This can be a challenging but rewarding role assisting and helping me on my lifelong journey building upon and reaching new personal goals”.

Experience and or knowledge of autism and learning disability would beneficial, you will work as part of a residential rota which will include evenings, weekends and public holidays. There is also the requirement to undertake occasional sleep overs.

As a Young People’s Worker you will receive a planned and supported induction programme consisting of an extensive training programme; including CALM Training, Child Protection Training and Fire Safety Training. The post requires SSSC registration, but we support individuals to gain the necessary practice qualifications required.
