Alzheimer Scotland has an exciting opportunity for a skilled, committed, creative person to take the lead role in the creation and development of a Youth Action Network within Alzheimer Scotland, harnessing and building on the interest in our campaigning and activism from young people across Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape something new and exciting within an inclusive, high impact charity with big ambitions for transformational change.
You will work to build the engagement that 16 to 21 year olds have with Alzheimer Scotland and its campaigning activities locally and nationally into a co-produced, mutually supportive, positive collective voice for change.
You will help young people to better understand, navigate and create change in their communities and nationally, supporting them to be heard, recognised and respected by decision makers.
The launch of this initiative is an invitation to young people across Scotland to join us, so regular travel throughout Scotland will be required. If you’re intrigued and excited by what you’ve read, and have the necessary skills, experience and ability to make a success of this key role, we would be delighted to hear from you. Application is by submission of your CV accompanied by a full supporting statement explaining what interests you about this post.
