Epilepsy Scotland has an exciting opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic Trust Fundraising Assistant to join our dynamic Fundraising Team. The function of the Fundraising team is to generate income to meet the needs of the organisation. The post holder will foster links with funders and work closely with project delivery staff.

You will be responsible for raising unrestricted and restricted income in line with annual targets. You will support a portfolio of existing charitable trust and foundation partnerships as well as research and develop a strong portfolio of potential funding sources.

Part of this role involves researching, identifying and supporting applications for community schemes and corporate charity partnership opportunities.

Candidates should demonstrate experience in writing applications, researching, planning and reporting to Trusts and Foundations. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with funders, have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and excellent research and analytical skills.
