Glasgow Night Shelter is looking for a dynamic SERVICE TRANSFORMATION LEAD who is excited by the idea of a big challenge!
We’ve been running an emergency shelter for asylum seekers 365 nights a year, since 2011. The staff and volunteers are skilled and dedicated and we’ve been successfully funded to pilot new types of emergency accommodation. This is where you come in! We need you to get us from where we are now to where we need to be. Can you help us transform our service and project manage a move?
We need someone who can commit to an initial full time nine month fixed term post or secondment with us, planning and delivering the transformation of the service and project managing the service. You’ll be at the forefront of a multi-agency project spanning local and national government, homelessness services in Glasgow and the expert asylum and refugee sector – this hasn’t been done before, so it’s hard to overestimate what an incredible opportunity this is for the right person.
You’ll receive support and supervision from the Project Director and you’ll work with them to plan for the sustainability of the service beyond Year 1.
For an informal conversation about the role please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a chat with the Project Director.
To apply, please send your full CV and an covering letter outlining what interests you in the role and why - and whether you are applying as a secondment or fixed term to email@example.com
