Are you looking for a role where your talents as a trainer benefit the lives of families raising disabled or seriously ill children?
Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people – providing over 89,000 grants and services worth over £33 million last year.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to work on an exciting new project to raise awareness of the benefits of digital inclusion, providing training to families raising disabled children to improve their digital skills and confidence to maximise and stabilise incomes, empowering families to improve their long-term financial health.
Reporting to the Head of Service Development and Delivery, you will work with colleagues across departments to engage with families and obtain their views on what is important to them and how they would like to use digital skills to learn about maximising income and maintaining financial health. You will engage with delivery partners and experts to source relevant information and decide on the best and most efficient way to provide this to families.
Using research outcomes and existing training resources, you will develop and deliver a digital training module tailored to the needs of families. You will also review the content of information across digital channels and scope innovative ways to reach digitally excluded families via online channels.
With experience of developing training modules and the ability to deliver workshops and training sessions for both individuals and groups, the successful candidate will have excellent relationship building skills coupled with the ability to engage and interact with families in a sensitive and diplomatic manner. With the ability to apply a creative approach to planning programmes and activities, you will be driven to deliver results focused on customer needs and satisfaction.
If this sounds like the role for you then please get in touch. Here at Family Fund we are committed to staff development whilst offering excellent benefits, including flexitime, competitive annual leave entitlement (which increases with length of service), yearly salary reviews which are linked to performance and above all a professional, fun working environment where a positive work-life balance is encouraged.
This role is home based in central Scotland (ideally Glasgow or Edinburgh) with regular travel.
