Join Scottish Huntington’s Association (SHA) and you will transform the lives of families living with Huntington’s disease (HD).
SHA is world-leading in its advocacy and support for the HD community. As a Trustee you will be able to shape the way the charity supports people living with Huntington’s disease now and work with other Trustees to meet future challenges. This is an exciting time for the HD community as researchers draw closer to potential treatments for the condition and the Board of Trustees will play a key role in preparing the charity.
The Board seek Trustees who have a range of professional skills in financial management and accounting, human resources, leadership and management, and legal services.
Informal enquiries are welcome and you should direct these to John Eden, CEO (0141 848 0308).
Applicants should send a letter indicating why they wish to be considered as a Trustee, what skills, experience and knowledge they would bring to the role and indicate any previous volunteer or Trustee experience.
Applications can be made on our application page.
Closing date for applications: March 13th, 2020
Trustee roles are subject to a Disclosure Scotland check
SHA is a registered Charity (SC010985) and is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment
