Role

Energy Action Scotland (EAS) campaigns for an end to fuel poverty in Scotland

With the forthcoming planned retirement of our current Director, Energy Action Scotland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead, manage and motivate the organisation’s team in the battle against Fuel Poverty as we enter the new decade. You will be a natural leader, inspirational in your outlook and have the ability to work under pressure. The board is seeking confidence in your ability to achieve their strategic objectives through gained experience, tailored management skills and demonstrated success.

You must be able to think strategically to develop and strengthen the organisation. You will also manage finance relationships with relevant partners to deliver on the various project priorities. You will be flexible and confident, an excellent communicator and committed to team working. You should have relevant experience in a similar environment, be incisive, understand the issues affecting a social business and be committed to continuous improvement. A relevant qualification or degree would be a distinct advantage.

In return for your commitment, we offer an excellent range of benefits including a pension scheme, generous leave and the opportunity to work with committed supportive colleagues and board members.
