This is an exciting opportunity to support our Midlothian service, with children, young people and their families in a group based environment. We are looking for enthusiastic, warm, creative and relational workers to complement our team of Peer Support Workers, Project Workers and Administrator to provide activities for children in the setting of the Woman’s Supper Club and also to help us launch our weekend family activity sessions for families impacted by parental substance use and ACES.
Experience of working with young people and their families is essential. You will be supporting young people from birth to 18 using a variety of approaches predominantly in a group work setting.
You will be expected to take a lead role in planning the activities, completing risk assessments and ensuring that resources are kept up to date and linking with the Midlothian team.
We are keen to recruit more than one person to provide flexibility in service delivery, and provide cover for sickness, holidays etc.
So, if you consider yourself to be compassionate, creative and committed, and have experience in activity based support for children and their families, we’d love to hear from you.
3 hours on Thursday evenings 4 – 6.30pm with 30 mins planning time out with the session.
4-8 hours on a weekend: this is to be confirmed dependent on activities undertaken.
