Role

In response to the government’s new agenda for ending homelessness and the Fife Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan, we are now seeking to recruit individuals wishing to participate in furthering our work in homelessness prevention and trauma informed housing support practice. This post is responsible for delivering impartial, confidential and professional housing advice under the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers (SNSIAP) and under Frontine Fife’s policy directives/procedures.

The post holder will assist those experiencing housing difficulties towards the achievement of positive outcomes using a strength-based approach to ensure they are better informed about their options, rights and responsibilities.

We are a team of compassionate and unique individuals, which aim to end homelessness by taking preventative action and by assisting and supporting people to choose the life they aspire to. Our team endeavours to build on people’s strengths through facilitating the promotion of self-valuing and wellbeing by assisting them to achieve their own goals and to seek out developmental opportunities.

Please note all the above posts benefit from an additional 1.5% salary increase, effective as at 1st April 2019

All the above posts are offered initially as Fixed Term Temporary contracts which may be extended in line with future funding secured.

Successful candidates taking up a client facing role are subject to PVG Disclosure checks and must have a current driving license, business insurance and the use of a car for work. Successful candidates securing a post regulated by the Care Inspectorate must register with the SSSC and must meet the required standards for the post within the permitted time as directed by the SSSC.
