Role

In response to the government’s new agenda for ending homelessness and the Fife Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan, we are now seeking to recruit individuals wishing to participate in furthering our work in homelessness prevention and trauma informed housing support practice. This post reports to the Lead for Short-term Housing Support and will provide first line supervision to staff carrying out the delivery of Short-term Housing Support (STHS) within geographic teams. The post holder will have day to day responsibility for client centred service delivery and management responsibility for Short-term Housing Support Assistants. As part of the wider change to homelessness services in Fife, it is anticipated that the postholder will dedicate an agreed apportion of their time, working with PSP partners to deliver outcome-based support.

The post holder is expected to actively promote solution focused service delivery which is strength based and meets the desired quality and compliant standards as directed by the organisation, CI and funders.

Please note all the above posts benefit from an additional 1.5% salary increase, effective as at 1st April 2019

All the above posts are offered initially as Fixed Term Temporary contracts which may be extended in line with future funding secured.

Successful candidates taking up a client facing role are subject to PVG Disclosure checks and must have a current driving license, business insurance and the use of a car for work. Successful candidates securing a post regulated by the Care Inspectorate must register with the SSSC and must meet the required standards for the post within the permitted time as directed by the SSSC.
