We have an opportunity for you to join the Transport team in Edinburgh to support the successful delivery of the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Challenge Fund on behalf of Transport Scotland.
The role will support project delivery with a variety of responsibilities, including: financial recording, compliance followed for internal processes/relevant EU fund legislation, regular reporting and analysis of key metrics, manage and monitor the performance of contractors and providing accurate advice and collateral to applicants and key stakeholders.
Your ability to plan and prioritise work is essential in this busy environment and effective communication skills will be key to this role. Your experience in grant fund design and delivery and ability to manipulate and analyse data (primarily using Excel) will be critical for your success. Your excellent attention to detail and financial management skills will underpin successful delivery of the programme objectives.
Additionally, awareness of project management methodologies will be fundamental to your effective performance.
