Role

SVE are currently seeking a Development and Engagement Coordinator for Stirling's Alive with Volunteering project.

Stirling’s Alive with Volunteering is a collaborative project led by Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise, Stirling Council and Volunteer Scotland. During 2020, Stirling’s Alive with Volunteering will offer opportunities for the people of Stirling to volunteer and participate in community life across Stirling, and beyond. Through yearlong activity we aim to grow volunteering participation in Stirling and work towards our target of 50% of the population volunteering. We are focused on reducing the inequality that exists in volunteering, and reduce barriers to participation wherever we find them.

Our Development and Engagement Coordinator (Stirling’s Alive with Volunteering) will project manage the Stirling’s Alive with Volunteering Programme, a year of celebration and community activism that aims to increase volunteering participation for all. You will work in a team with peers from Volunteer Scotland, Stirling Council and SVE, and it will be your role to support, encourage and facilitate this multi- disciplinary team to achieve fantastic results. If you are interested in peer leadership, are skilled at project management and have a strong interest in volunteering for all, this role could be perfect for you. As part of this role you will have the opportunity to support young volunteering champions in their roles, so an interest in supporting young people to achieve their potential is a must.
