Are you passionate about supporting people to develop their voice, skills, confidence and ideas? Do you have a background in community development? Are you keen to work alongside the community in Methil Fife?

Corra Foundation is seeking a Community Co-ordinator to join the People in Place team and get alongside the community in Methil, Fife. The community is at the heart of the People in place programme, and community co-ordinators play an important role in bringing local people and partners together to support the change that matters to them.

If you have previous experience of working in and with a community or managing a local community group, or project on a paid or voluntary basis, this could be the role for you!

Can you demonstrate an ability to form positive working relationships with a range of individuals and groups? Have you provided support and managed volunteers?

We need someone with energy and enthusiasm, who has an ability to work flexibly within the community, is self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The People in Place programme ‘getting alongside communities’ is currently working in 9 communities across Scotland. We are looking for one part time postholder in Methil 21 or 28 hours per week.

Corra Foundation is committed to being a great place to work. Flexible working requests will be considered. The role includes regular travel across Fife as well as some travel across Scotland. The post is subject to PVG Scheme registration.
