Part Time HOPE Volunteer Coordinator

  • 21 hours per week, 9am – 5.00pm Tuesday – Thursday (degree of flexibility required). Evening & Weekend work may also be required. This post is funded until 31st October 2021 (Subject to meeting agreed outcomes).

CLASP is seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, support and place a team of volunteers in the delivery of our HOPE Project services. The HOPE (Helping Older People Evolve) Project supports older adults aged 50+. Our services include one to one befriending in the persons own home, telephone befriending, weekly lunch clubs, social activities/outings, health and fitness classes and information sessions.

We are ideally looking for someone who is sympathetic to the needs of the client group with a good working knowledge and recent experience of volunteer recruitment and management being an essential requirement. Ideally you will have a relevant qualification in volunteer management or the health and social care field, equivalent to HNC or above.
