A wonderful opportunity to join the groundbreaking charity Playlist for Life at an exciting time is available for an experienced Media & Marketing Executive. Playlist for Life is the personal music and dementia charity founded in 2013 by writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson. We have ambitious plans for the next two years and thanks to funding from the Community Lottery Fund we are recruiting for this new post to help support and roll out our ambitious expansion programme.
By 2022 we want to establish a vibrant UK network of Help Points, volunteers and trained health and care professionals, all creating and using playlists in their communities to help manage dementia systems, alleviate distress and reconnect relationships. We have a committed team based in Glasgow, and as we get ready to launch our ambitious new strategy, it’s an exciting time to be at Playlist for Life. Our Marketing and Communication Team is central to delivering our bold new plans and this new Media & Marketing Executive post will take a lead role in making our strategy a success. That’s why we’re looking for an outstanding individual to join small, but growing Marketing and Communication Team of four.
The Media & Marketing Executive will be an exceptional storyteller with a real passion for creating high-quality, engaging campaigns. As part of the Marketing and Communications Team, they will work with the Head of Communications and Campaigns and the CEO to shape and implement communication and marketing strategies to promote Playlist for Life’s activities. Prior experience of leading national campaigns and developing extensive, tailored communication strategies is essential. The successful candidate will have a good nose for a compelling story, be able to write copy to tight deadlines, use their creativity to spot opportunities to promote the Charity, and be excellent at building positive working relationships both internally and externally.
