Role

Enriching the lived experience of children and young people with chronic conditions – through art therapy treatment in hospitals – is the core purpose of Teapot Trust (SCI0 SC014885). Approaching our tenth anniversary in 2020, the charity has 21 services in 11 partner hospitals and retains 17 sessional art therapists and a staff team of 6. Embarking on an exciting phase of regrowth, we’re seeking an efficient Communication Assistant to support our core team.

Your key focus will be:

· Fulfilling a new online strategy (the result of an audit of its effectiveness) by coordinating social media posts and website updates provided by the team

· Supporting the chief executive with administration for media work

· Supporting the fundraising team with campaigns, database work and gift processing

· Supporting the art therapy projects manager with liaison with hospitals

Located beside the river in Musselburgh, (one stop on the trainline from Edinburgh), our core team punches above its weight which means you can expect a pacey and purposeful work culture but one where we also celebrate success!
