Scotland is going through a period of unprecedented change. Whilst we are all affected, it is often the poorest who come off the worst – we know there will be many and complex issues which stop them reaching their potential. These are the people Venture Trust exists to support. We concentrate on individual’s strengths, equip them with essential life-skills and build their confidence. We provide a second chance to those in danger of being left behind, and passionately believe everyone can succeed and to continue thrive throughout their lives.
Venture Trust’s fundraising department is a crucial support function of the organisation enabling us to provide life-changing opportunities to these people.
The Graduate Fundraising Officer role is an integral and varied one, supporting the fundraising team across income streams. You will be working collaboratively with other departments, with a specific focus on Trusts & Foundations and Corporate Fundraising. The role is ideally suited to someone looking to work in the charity sector and will provide a wide range of experience working within a busy fundraising team.
Full induction and in-house training will be provided with ongoing opportunities to attend regular external networking and training events. You will also have a chance to complete the Institute of Fundraising’s Introduction to Fundraising Course which provides a practical introduction to fundraising, covering basic principles and best practice.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in the third sector!
