Role

We have a unique opportunity for a group-focused Youth Worker to join our Positive Transitions Team, during an exciting period of growth. The Positive Transitions Service is an established service in schools across all 4 of Edinburgh’s localities, offering an early intervention service to encourage and enable vulnerable children, young people and families, and to support them to feel understood and valued, developing their potential (gaining self-esteem and confidence), and overcoming personal, school and learning challenges. In the last three years, the Positive Transitions Service has supported over 2,500 children, young people and families. We are an authorised supplier on the Framework Agreement for the Pupil Equity Fund and we have recently secured funding from The National Lottery, BBC Children in Need, the Robertson Trust and NHS Lothian. We are now extending our service into East Lothian and an opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join our team.
