Established in 1995, Positive Action in Housing is a Scottish wide, independent, anti-racist homelessness and human rights charity (SC027577) dedicated to supporting women, children and men from refugee and migrant backgrounds to overcome homelessness, poverty, and discrimination, find hope and rebuild their lives. In addition to providing emergency humanitarian aid and face to face support services for vulnerable people, the charity works with social housing providers, local authorities, and other minority ethnic and voluntary organisations to eliminate racial discrimination and hate crime. We believe in a society where everyone has the right to live safe and dignified lives, free from poverty, homelessness or inequality.
We are seeking a member of staff to join our lively, hardworking and friendly team.
We are seeking a skilled, committed and passionate individual to fill our vacancy to plan, implement and deliver all key tasks related to Trusts and Grants fundraising as part of the wider Fund-raising strategy. You will have a demonstrable record of writing strong and compelling funding applications and securing funding from Trusts & Foundations. You will also have a demonstrable record of writing strong funding reports evidencing impact; You will have strong analytical skills. You will have excellent IT skills, and be familiar with spreadsheets, word processing and MS Office. You will know how to prioritise a varied workload under pressure. You are self-motivated.
