Every week three children die in Scotland from an incurable condition. CHAS intends to be there for every one of those children.
This newly created role will be responsible for the development and implementation of the digital communication strategy, the CHAS website and all CHAS social media channels, ensuring that CHAS at all times delivers high quality and engaging content that inspires the public and stakeholders to support our cause.
Working as part of the Communications Team, you will be playing a key role in developing and delivering on a bold digital strategy, developing creative and dynamic content to promote CHAS’s work to connect with a number of audiences across a multitude of platforms. You will drive the development and implementation of CHAS’s website, our digital engagement programmes and campaigns, identifying new audiences to extend our reach, enhance our influence and grow our income.
You will have notable previous experience in producing and implementing a digital communications strategy. You will have extensive experience of content management and of directing the work of designers and developers.
This post will draw heavily on your familiarity with the whole digital landscape, including CMS and CRM systems, digital communication reporting tools, and social platforms.
With an excellent understanding of social media and website development, you will be experienced in running digital campaigns and driving engagement. You’ll have a good eye for detail and excellent understanding of the importance of user experience. A self-starter, you will be comfortable building relationships both across the organisation, as well as with the children and families using CHAS’s services.
