Advocacy Worker

Equal Say has been providing advocacy for people with disabilities since 1995. We want to recruit a new worker for our project in North Lanarkshire working mainly with people using Self-Directed Support (SDS), based in our Wishaw office. This post is funded through the Scottish Government SDS implementation strategy until April 2021.

If you have knowledge or experience of any of the following, we want to hear from you:

· Providing advocacy or representation to marginalised people

· Experience of working with Self Directed Support

· Experience of casework in a community setting

· Autonomous working within a small team

· A passion for inclusion and social justice
