ORSAS is an intersectional feminist, trauma-informed organisation with human rights at our core and these values inform everything we do. We provide free and confidential practical & emotional support and advocacy to anyone in Orkney, of any gender (age 13+), who has been affected by sexual violence at any time in their life. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in providing administration and funding support in a business or charitable context.

Job Purpose

  • The Admin & Funding Worker will be responsible for the effective administration of the ORSAS office:
  • Being the main point of contact for the office phone, mail, email and in person enquiries
  • Ensuring systems operate to facilitate the effective communication and data retention across the organisation
  • Liaise with ORSAS Colleagues, Rape Crisis Scotland and funders re the collation and compilation of quarterly excel budget sheets, statistics, funding reports and compilation of funding applications
  • Liaise with the ORSAS bookkeeper to maintain robust financial records
  • Assist with the upkeep of the office environment and maintenance of office equipment, facilities and stationery including HR and H&S compliance
  • To prepare and take minutes for Team and Board meetings, and other key meetings as required
  • Providing administrative support to the wider RCS team as capacity allows and under direction of the Office Manager
