Role

Lanarkshire Carers is recruiting a Finance Co-ordinator to join our organisation where you will be supported, valued and well rewarded. Our personal outcome based service delivery model is currently supporting all staff to work remotely from home as we plan our return to workplaces. The post holder will be mainly based in our Hamilton centre and may also be required to work from our centre in Airdrie and offices in localities throughout Lanarkshire. All staff work on an outreach basis in community venues throughout Lanarkshire.

Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer, and working as directed by the full management team, the Finance Co-ordinator will contribute to the operational management and delivery of the organisations finance functions. The post holder will hold an accountancy qualification or be part qualified or qualified by experience in a finance role. The Finance Co-ordinator will make a key contribution to the work of the leadership team providing specialist financial skills and knowledge as required. Responsibilities of this post include, preparation of budgets and supporting budget holders to monitor and control budget lines, preparation of financial management reports, payroll administration, banking, payment processing and overseeing income and expenditure.
