Southside Housing Association Ltd is a charitable community controlled housing organisation. We own and manage approximately 2,200 houses and through our own factoring company, SFARS, provide a factoring service to a further 800 houses.

Community Initiatives

We have a well-established range of community programmes which are offered within our neighbourhoods. Over the last few years these have ranged from co-ordinating a variety of health and well-being activities through to alleviating the effects of poverty by offering food and activities for families during the school holiday period. These sessional posts offer an opportunity to be part of a forward thinking team making a positive difference to people’s lives.

We are seeking a well organised and motivated individual to work as part of a team to co-ordinate, develop and promote our community programmes. The successful applicant will have an excellent track record of working with a range of individuals, groups and organisations. They will be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and creative approach to engaging with individuals and bringing groups together.

The posts are offered on a sessional basis. Hours will vary depending on funding and the development of programmes, but it is expected that the individual(s) will be able to commit to supporting our children’s holiday food programme from July – mid August 2021.

A PVG Check will be requested for the successful applicant.
