Established in 2000, the Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF) is a charity based in Airdrie which supports children and adults of all genders affected by childhood sexual abuse. We are now recruiting a Client Support Officer (35 hours per week) to join our existing team of fifteen.
Warmth, empathy and compassion are key attributes for these roles. The Client Support Officer will use a personal outcomes, strengths based approach, will possess a counselling qualification, have experience of supporting vulnerable clients and have a sound understanding of trauma and the issues that affect CSA survivors.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday with a degree of flexibility for evening work required to meet the needs of our clients. You will be based predominantly in our centre in Airdrie. The annual salary is £21,755 pro rata.
Induction training and clinical supervision will be provided, as well as enhanced employer pension contribution (following 3-month probationary period), death in benefit scheme and attractive holiday leave benefits.
