The Service

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and developing service in Islington.

The post holder will manage the Recovery Team responsible for aftercare activities such as ETE, BRIC and Peer Mentoring/Volunteers, as well as working closely with colleagues in further developing groupwork in this area.

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and caring Team Leader who will be responsible for providing day to day operational management.

The post holder will be integral to ensuring a high-quality service that promotes recovery and increase opportunities for the Islington population to achieve sustainable recovery and, holistically supporting service users to enter and move through the recovery focused service. You will contribute to the creation of an outcome focussed culture as well as participate in a learning culture for all that consciously celebrates and engages with diversity.

The Role

Key role responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • To ensure staff have the appropriate support (supervision), training and guidance they need to carry out their duties.
  • To support staff team in their case management and provide practical solutions were appropriate
  • Develop collaborative partnerships and attend relevant meetings to promote service delivery and development
  • Support with the services achievement of performance targets. Contribute to the achievement of overall service and WDP objectives and Key Performance Indicators and contractual obligations are met.
  • Develop plans for meeting targets for team and area of responsibility.
  • To work in partnership in the community in areas such as ETE services, aftercare and other service providers to provide seamless and holistic care packages for service users accessing this part of treatment .
  • You will have responsibility in delivering and further developing our Groupwork Programme
  • To work as part of the overall Candi management team


· Salary band of £29,000 - £34,000

· Fixed Term

· 37.5 hours per week


The role is based primarily at our King Henry’s Walk site but flexibility to work across sites will be an expectation
