Moving On Inverclyde is a recovery-focused community service supporting adults and family members experiencing problematic drug and alcohol use across Inverclyde. We have been operating in the locality since 2002. We provide a 4-stage programme of support including therapeutic one-to-one and groupwork, as well as recreational and other activities.
We have an opportunity for a new project worker to join our team of committed staff. Experience of health or social care work; and working with or helping individuals who have an alcohol and/or drug problem is essential. A relevant qualification at a minimum level of HNC or SVQIII is essential.
This will be a full-time post (35 hours per week) for a fixed term of 12 months in the first instance, subject to continued funding beyond that period. The post may involve some unsocial hours (by negotiation). The post will be based at Moving On Inverclyde offices in Jamaica St., Greenock.
