Fife Women’s Aid are looking for counsellors to work on a sessional basis with our women’s counselling service. You will provide direct counselling to women who have experience of domestic abuse. This will initially be delivered remotely, moving to face to face contact as soon as possible (in line with covid-19 restrictions).

The successful applicants will be qualified to Counselling Diploma level or above and will have excellent counselling skills, having had 2 years’ experience of working in a similar environment.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking to appoint a Finance and Admin Officer to provide a professional finance function and support us to operate as a sustainable charity and responsible employer. You will be responsible for the day to day management of Zero Tolerance’s financial systems and lead the procurement of services alongside supporting the Co-Directors and colleagues with administration. The Finance and Admin Officer will also lead on development of organisational and project budgets, as well as provide quarterly management accounts and compile quarterly Board finance reports.

What We Need

With excellent financial acumen, attention to detail and the ability to present financial information clearly to a range of audiences, the successful candidate will have a sound understanding of office practices and procedures.

You’ll have practical bookkeeping experience and thorough knowledge and understanding of financial systems including use of financial software. You will also have:

• Understanding of budget and forecast management techniques
• Confidence in liaising on financial matters with external partners
• Ability to organise and manage own work to meet deadlines under pressure and work flexibly in response to changing priorities
• Excellent IT skills, with good working knowledge of MS Office and advanced user of Excel

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our team and lead on our work to raise public and political awareness of men’s violence against women, and how to prevent it. You will support the organisation’s aims by developing and delivering impactful communication strategies, increasing Zero Tolerance’s profile through both traditional and new media engagement.

What We Need

An excellent communicator with a self-motivated and enthusiastic approach, the successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role ideally with a sound understanding of violence against women and gender equality. You’ll be a skilled project manager with the ability to work flexibility, often to tight timescales; the willingness to adapt to the needs of a small charity is also essential. You will also have:

• A strong understanding and experience of working with the media
• Demonstrable experience of developing, delivering, and evaluating projects
• Knowledge and experience of developing and delivering social media campaigns via multiple platforms
• Experience of producing publications for print and online
