FEAT have a vacancy for an Employment Supervisor to use the IPS approach, working with Fife Health & Social Care Partnership and with clients with complex mental health conditions across Fife. This innovative project which started in April 2015 has secured further funding from Opportunities Fife and the European Social Investment Fund. Working directly with all relevant stakeholders: the individual, NHS Fife, Fife Council, GPs, employers, colleges, Job Centre Plus and Occupational Health to enable individuals to gain and sustain employment.
This specific role involves managing the day to day running of the project and staff team as well as proactively managing a small caseload of individuals who have experienced complex mental health problems who are unemployed and/or currently off work. You will deliver the IPS evidence-based model of vocational rehabilitation for people with complex mental health problems.
As Employment Supervisor you will be used to collaborative working and will have some experience managing people. You will be an excellent organiser and should be prepared to track project outcomes and write brief reports for managers/funders as required. You will enjoy presenting to partners and employers as well as building and maintaining relationships with a view to securing job outcomes and signposting FEAT training opportunities.
The Employment Supervisor could come from an employability, management or mental health background. You will undertake to agree to and practise in line with FEAT’s professional guidelines. You will be experienced delivering a range of employability and vocational skills, mainly on an individual basis but occasionally to groups, to clients with complex mental health conditions. The Employment Supervisor will support the Strategic Clinical Lead to achieve project outcomes and help shape future innovations.
Due to the current COVID situation we are working virtually with our base at Silverburn Park it is anticipated that we will continue to work within our client’s communities across Fife. FEAT are working closely with government guidelines as restrictions are eased. As well as traveling throughout Fife, you are also expected to carry out a proportion of work in NHS inpatient/outpatient settings across Fife, with patients on a one to one basis.
