This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and close-knit Food for Life Scotland team and to lead our external communications, extending the profile, reach, impact, and engagement of the Food for Life Scotland programme.
We work in partnership with local authorities and the food and drink industry to connect producers and caterers, putting more freshly prepared Scottish food on the table using the Food for Life Served Here award as a framework for change.
We believe good food holds the key to a healthier population, a greener environment and a thriving economy.

- Experience of delivering effective communications across the ‘mix’ – including marketing, PR, digital and social media
- Experience of creating rich content for digital communications and social media
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud suite, SEO, Google Analytics, Umbraco and CRM systems

We’re looking for an experienced service manager with a strong background in delivering large contracts and services to ensure the continued successful delivery of Connecting Scotland. Ideally you will have experience of quality assurance, process improvement and compliance as well as a strong understanding of approaches to monitoring and evaluation.
Connecting Scotland is a major programme developed as a result of the pandemic to support people who are digitally excluded to get online. Working with hundreds of partners in communities across Scotland, people are provided with a combination of devices, internet connectivity and digital skills support to help them with learning, life and work during the pandemic. Connecting Scotland is funded by the Scottish Government and supported by all Scotland’s Local Authorities, as well as hundreds of organisations from across the public, private and third sectors.
This post will be responsible for managing the Connecting Scotland service and leading the team and suppliers responsible for providing support to both partner organisations and end users.

We’re looking for someone with a sound background knowledge of a range of charity funding practices. You might have worked as a funder or in a fundraising role for a charity. This post will be responsible for managing a small team, leading our work on grant management and other funding products as well as working closely with Funding Scotland and our policy team to help shape the funding landscape in Scotland.
The Yard is an award-winning charity that runs adventure play services for disabled children, young people and their families in the east of Scotland. We are seeking an experienced manager who will develop and manage a holiday playscheme and develop our year-round community of support for families in Edinburgh. To be considered for this role you will have experience of managing regulated care or support services to excellent care standards and the ability to develop and implement family support that will bring about real change for our families.
