Due to the expansion of our Services, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Service Manager within Together Borders, the Organisation’s Supported Living division.

As Registered Manager for the service, you will manage the day-to-day operational running of designated services through the provision of support and supervision to Support Managers and their Staff Teams. You will have primary responsibility for ensuring effective delivery of high quality and individualised support to people in their own homes and local community. You will also work as part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to continuous improvement and strategic development.

You will be able to demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills, good relationships with supported individuals and their families, and effective collaboration with partner agencies.

We are seeking applicants who hold a relevant qualification (e.g. social work, nursing, or SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care) and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant services, ideally including experience of supporting people with learning disabilities. In addition you should have previous management experience and ideally a recognised management qualification. Consideration will be given to applicants holding SVQ Level 3 or equivalent who meet or exceed the experience required, have a minimum of 2 years’ management experience, and are able to demonstrate initiative and contribution at a service level (appointment would be subject to gaining Level 4 qualification within a defined timeframe).
