Role

Clyde Shopmobility is a member led Disabled People’s Organisation based in West Dunbartonshire. We are recruiting for a Self-Directed Support Development Worker within our SDS Ideas project. You will create and deliver a programme of meetings and user groups and provide information to enable people to make informed choices. You will assist people to self-advocate, monitor and assess ongoing need and support them to prepare for SDS Assessment. You should have experience of supporting people to access Self Directed Support. A qualification in a relevant subject is required. You will work a pattern that accommodates our users and may include some weekends or evenings.

A PVG check is required for this post. Our base is in Clydebank but travel throughout West Dunbartonshire may be required (currently home-working.) This post is funded by the Scottish Government's Step in the Right Direction programme through Inspiring Scotland.
