The post is responsible for the delivery of activities related to the operation of Brag’s delivery to support adults from unemployment into work.

The company specialises in the delivery of learning activities to service users who have been out of work for a period and may have barriers, either perceived or actual, to securing and sustaining paid work. All work undertaken is alongside the service users ambition and there is an agreed action plan to facilitate the journey required uniquely for each individual.

Duties

• To proactively engage with local employers to source relevant employment opportunities for our service users.
• To manage a pipeline of employers and vacancies whilst providing direct access to interviews.
• To provide support to employers to effectively manage their recruitment process to hire the right staff for good roles.

The Business Process Manager will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of Inspiring Scotland’s fund processes. This includes management of different processes for fund development, monitoring, reporting and payment, charity and stakeholder engagement to ensure high quality delivery of fund management across the organisation.

They will work closely with the rest of the core operational team to support the Head of Funds and Head of Development and Partnerships deliver the annual operating plan.

The role is office based for contractual purposes however you may be expected to travel for some meetings.

Our new post of Skills Development Coordinator will support disadvantaged young people (aged 16 to 25) and socially isolated adults across our community of benefit to have better life chances.

The role involves recruiting and supporting individuals from the target groups to develop practical, social, emotional, literacy, and/or creative skills that enable them to play their part in a connected and inclusive community. The post holder will coordinate and develop learning, training, and volunteering opportunities for participants according to individual needs and goals.

To apply, you will need a strong track record in community development and/or skills development and experience of managing volunteers and sessional workers. You will be competent in building strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders. You will have experience of facilitating the delivery of nationally recognised qualifications, either directly or working in partnership with an external provider. You will be used to working with people in peer-led and informal education settings. If you are also self-motivated, well-organised and have digital, monitoring, and evaluation skills, this may be the post for you.

Hawkhill Community

We need a dynamic, outgoing energetic person to deliver our new programme of activities for our young people. Funded by Robertson Trust, this is a 3 year post to help us develop a programme for young people which is holistic, fun, educational and relevant to young people in 2021.

You will need a qualification in Youth Work, experience of working with young people who have had challenging backgrounds and who are hard to engage in traditional youth programmes.

Job Purpose:

• To promote and help to deliver social education opportunities with young people within Hawkhill Community Centre
• To work directly with young people and support them to develop, undertake and maintain a programme of youth work opportunities
• To work as part of a team of part time paid and voluntary staff
• To develop positive relationships with young people, other youth workers and members of the wider community
