Sales and Business Development Opportunities in the Social Enterprise Sector

Spruce is one of Scotland’s growing army of grass roots social enterprises working hard to make a real difference to the lives of the customers we serve and the volunteers working with us. From our base in the South West Glasgow we are leading the way in developing a sustainable re-use business model for floor coverings across the UK. Over the last fifteen years we’ve built a strong and competitive enterprise and we want to further invest in our development capacity to support our growth.

The post holder will be responsible for the continued development of Spruce’s Sales and Business Development activities, and as our lead voice on developing our relationships with existing and new donor organisations, you will have a lot of impact. As a social enterprise, we have joint trading and social aims – we are a social business focused on Reuse and on making sure individuals and families on low incomes have access to high quality flooring solutions. We also work extensively with commercial, public and voluntary sector organisations, all of whom help Spruce deliver on its social mission. The post holder will work with both existing and new commercial customers to help us meet income targets for the business, which in turn will generate increased operational activity helping to create skills and learning opportunities for our volunteers.
