Recruitment of Board Members

Moving On Inverclyde is a recovery-focused community service supporting adults and family members experiencing problematic drug and alcohol use. We have been operating in the locality since 2002. We have charitable status and currently employ 8 staff. Our Board directs the strategy and operations of Moving On.

Our Board members are passionate about the need to support people affected by drugs and alcohol issues in Inverclyde. We currently have 6 Board members and wish to expand the range of skills and experience that our members bring. We are also keen to ensure representation of people currently employed in health and social care roles in Inverclyde.

Additional areas of expertise we are interested in include:

· Accounting

· Work with younger people (18-25)

· Family support

The Board meets every 6 weeks (9 times per annum) for an early evening meeting lasting approximately 2 hours.
