Role

St Paul’s Youth Forum are seeking a passionate and committed individual to help us kick-start a cycling revolution in the North East of Glasgow!

As the On Bikes Pilot Project Mechanic you will be working in partnership with a Community Development Worker who will be employed by Rosemount Development Trust. Together you will work with local schools and organisations to deliver this exciting new project. We are looking for an experienced individual who has a passion for cycling, to provide free bikes to young people of school age who can't afford them, so that every child in Scotland leaves school able to cycle safely. Strong communication and people skills are essential for this role as you will be working with young people to set them up to be able to cycle to and from school.

As this is a new project, we need someone who can take the initiative and who isn’t afraid to get stuck in!

This position is funded through the Transport for Scotland until 16/08/2022.
