About Us
Shakti provides information, emotional/practical support and refuge/temporary accommodation to all Black Minority Ethnic women and their children who are experiencing or fleeing domestic abuse.
Our Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Shakti Women’s Aid as their Finance Worker. Reporting to the CEO, this important role is central to the effectiveness of the organisation; the role holder will ensure day to day finance and accounts activities are carried out effectively and efficiently, whilst providing support across the charity.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced and qualified finance professional with demonstrable experience of general accounting and reconciliation work to audit level. You will possess sound knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Excel, with excellent general IT, planning, organisational and communication skills. A relevant qualification, preferably to HND or AAT standard is also required.
