We wish to continue to build a strong and competent group of Trustees with the passion to keep this essential specialist sexual violence service available in the Scottish Borders.

We are the only dedicated, specialist service in the Scottish Borders providing support to survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence. Our services offer experienced and beneficial support services to self-identifying women aged 18+ and to young people of any gender/gender identity aged between 12 and 18.
What you bring: commitment, experience, passion, drive and enthusiasm.
The role: support the organisation to meet its legal, financial and ethical obligations whilst providing an outstanding service to the people of the Scottish Borders.
The Board currently meets eight times per year, this includes four development meetings.
You should be able to commit to attending meetings and responding to communication as required.
We particularly welcome applicants who can demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas;
· Marketing, Communications & Social Media
· Finance/Accounting
· HR or legal knowledge
· Events/fundraising
· Community engagement
· Experience of having worked in the voluntary sector

Would you like to help us improve the lives of women, children and young people who experience domestic abuse in East Ayrshire? Do you have a willingness to learn, share your skills and work as part of a team? If the answer to these questions is yes, then you might be interested in becoming a Director of East Ayrshire Women’s Aid.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team delivering vital support to vulnerable women, children and young people in East Ayrshire. You do not need to know everything there is to know about domestic abuse, but we do need to know that you are reliable and committed to our principles and values.
The position is voluntary, but we will provide you with training and support and pay your expenses. We meet at least six times a year, usually on Saturday mornings. We welcome applications from women from all sections of the community.
The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre Perth & Kinross are looking for a highly motivated and committed worker with experience of providing therapeutic support to join our team. This post involves the provision of therapeutic support, information and advocacy services for survivors age 12+ and their family members. Experience of delivering emotional therapeutic, practical support and advocacy services to women and/ young people affected by trauma is essential, alongside experience of assessing and responding to risk in relation to sexual abuse and exploitation. RASAC P&K welcome applications from women of all backgrounds and identities, in particular women of colour and those underrepresented in the workforce. Only women need apply under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. Successful applicants subject to PVG.
